According to O'Reilly, the book Frontier, the definitive guide is 'out of print'. I guess that means I'm not able to buy the book in stores anymore. But, I want the book!

I have been playing with Frontier, Radio and UserTalk for a while now, and Rogers Cadenhead's book has helped me a lot. But now, I want to read more. I know there's an online edition of the book, but I like reading tech books in the train, in my bed, etcetera.

If anyone knows how I can get the book, I would really appreciate if you would let me know.

Just by coincidence, I came across Donovan Watts's weblog, with a post saying he trackbacked me. I never noticed the trackback, so I started digging in the code and looking in the database, and indeed, there was a trackback. It just didn't get displayed right. I fixed that, so now trackbacks show up again.

Allright, the reason the counters didn't match is described below. The reason comments didn't get saved, is my fault, I screwed up when altering the insert statement. If all is right, you should be able to post comments again.

Okay, about the comments. My guess is that there are comments not being saved, due to some yet unknown errors. The counter, though, gets incremented whether the comments are saved or not, causing differences between the counted comments and the comments that are actually there. I'm working around that now, making sure the counter depends on a correct insertion of comments.

If you see more bugs, please tell me.The more people helping out, the sooner the system works the way it should.

Okay, it's 3 AM, so it's sunday already, but to me it's saturday. So, a small To Do for tomorrow:
  • fix bugs: there seems to be a problem with the post counters
  • see uncompleted To Do list from last thursday
But first I will sleep late tomorrow. I woke up too early too many times this last week.
