Ah, there's more.

Found this in my aggregator, but it doesn't seem to be on Dave's blog anymore:

"Frontier will be released in open source before the end of 2004. That gives Microsoft all of 2005 to integrate it with Windows."

Sounds great. Dave Winer announced the open source release of Frontier some months ago, and in the time between then and now, I have been playing a lot with Radio UserLand and a somewhat older version of Frontier (version 501, supposedly the last one before it became a commercial product).

I've found that Frontier is an interesting scripting environment, in which you can do cool nerdy stuff, but also build tools for the not-so-nerdy users. I'm hoping the open source release will open up doors to new cool stuff.

Keith Devens: "I just learned that Friendster has fired one of its employees for blogging. I'm joining Jeremy and cancelling my Friendster account tonight. I'd recommend everyone else do the same if you're willing to."

I would, if I had an account.
